Experiential Training

We believe that the best way to really learn anything is through practical exercises. Put your theoretical knowledge to the test and experience real team spirit with Combat Ready experiential training courses!

Our field trainings are practical and designed to reinforce the leadership principles learned in theory, built on a framework of Extreme Ownership. We put participants into stressful, complex and chaotic situations to highlight leadership mistakes and put the 4 Laws of Combat into practise.

The aim is to take you out of your comfort zone and test your leadership skills, address your weaknesses and give you the experience of making decisions in a high-stress environment. There’s no better way to learn leadership than being in real-life situations that force you to make decisions, take action and get immediate feedback from our instructors, whose only goal is to see you win.

The trainings focus on effective leadership and team building.

How might a field training look like?

The values and principles on which we base our trainings:

  • We Start by Leading Ourselves: Self-discipline and personal responsibility are fundamental.
  • Team Success is the Ultimate Measure of Leadership: Success or failure falls on the leader.
  • Training Must Be Rigorous: Tough training results in easier operations.
  • Relationships are Paramount: Building trust and respect is essential for team cohesion.
  • Practical Training is Priority: Realistic training scenarios are a must.
  • Every Role is Vital: Each person contributes to the success of the mission.
  • Lead by Example: Results speak louder than words.
  • Hard Conversations and Feedback: Hard conversations must be had, leaders also need feedback from the team and it is mandatory.
  • If the team fails, everyone fails.

All our training programmes are based on the principles of combat leadership taken from our time serving in the elite Special Forces. We follow the principle of 65% practical, 25% demonstrational and 10% theoretical. We believe that the best way to learn and really absorb knowledge is through practise.
